Winter, with its cold temperatures and dry air, puts our skin to the test, especially on delicate areas like the lips and cuticles. To pamper your skin naturally, here are three simple recipes to make at home and store in handy little 20g or 50g jars.
1. Protective lip balm
This rich, protective lip balm is designed to help soothe dry lips and protect them from the cold. Made with shea butter, beeswax and coconut oil, it provides long-lasting moisture. The addition of Frankincense and Geranium essential oils supports the skin in winter with a delicate and soothing scent.
Ingredients for a 20g jar:
- 10g shea butter (intensely moisturizes)
- 5g beeswax (helps seal in moisture)
- 4g coconut oil (softens and protects)
- 1 drop of Frankincense essential oil (supports cell regeneration)
- 1 drop of Geranium essential oil (helps to balance the skin and make it softer)
Instructions :
- Melt the shea butter, beeswax and coconut oil in a double boiler, stirring gently to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
- Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then add the essential oils.
- Pour into a small 20g or 50g jar and let harden at room temperature. Use whenever your lips need it to keep them soft and comfortable!
2. Gentle lip exfoliator
This exfoliant made with fine sugar and coconut oil helps gently remove dead skin, leaving lips smooth and ready for their moisturizing treatment. Adding a touch of Peppermint or Vanilla essential oil provides a fresh and soft effect.
Ingredients for a 20g jar:
- 10g of fine sugar (gently exfoliates)
- 8g coconut oil (hydrates and soothes)
- 1 drop of Peppermint essential oil (provides a refreshing sensation) or Vanilla (supports calming)
Instructions :
- In a bowl, mix the sugar and coconut oil until well combined.
- Add the essential oil and stir gently.
- Transfer to your jar and store in a cool place. To use, apply a small amount to lips, massage gently, then rinse for softer, more caring lips.
3. Nourishing Cuticle Cream
Nourishing and soothing, this cream is perfect to help protect cuticles dried out by the cold. Sweet almond oil deeply hydrates, while Copaiba and Roman Chamomile essential oils bring a touch of softness and support to the nails.

- 10g beeswax (seals in moisture)
- 10g coconut oil (softens and protects)
